THE KICK-OFF POC INITIATIVE SANDBOX FOR DEVELOPMENT PQC MIGRATION May 30, 2025，Cai Yu, Deputy General Manager of NEXCORE Tech, participated in the initiative meeting of Malaysia's POC INITIATIVE SANDBOX FOR DEVELOPMENT PQC MIGRATION. Co-hosted by Malaysia's National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) and Universiti Putra Malaysia's (UPM) Cryptography Laboratory. China Silk Road Group is the first Chinese PQC ecosystem partner, NEXCORE Tech as a subsidiary will implement UPM's PQC algorithms in three critical scenarios. Database Encryption Technology The research contents include the construction of a Database Encryption Framework Deeply Integrated with Malaysia PQC, Searchable Encryption and SQL rewriting rules for encrypted data.This research combines the PQC algorithms with database encryption to create a "secure vault" for core data, establishing an independent permission control system. It leverages authentication, access control, auditing, and encryption for multi-layered security. NGFW/IPS/VPN Gateway application The research contents include the application of the KAZ-SIGN PQC algorithm in PKI, usage of KAZ-SIGN-issued certificates in the IKE protocol, and application of the KAZ-SIGN algorithm in the TLS protocol. Land Mobile Radio Network Encryption Air interface protocol design to employ the Malaysia PQC including the dual-direction authentication and encryption.Key management research & implementation in DMR network, including the key generation, configuration, update and distribution.
